Hastelloy is a core series of nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys. It is made by smelting nickel as the base material with alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and copper. It belongs to high-end special anti-corrosion materials
Core Series Classification:
B Series: Nickel-molybdenum alloy, primarily for reducing corrosion (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid)
C Series: Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, offering the strongest overall corrosion resistance, suitable for oxidizing, reducing, and chlorine-containing media.
G Series: Suitable for phosphoric acid, complex mixed acids, and fertilizer/chemical industries.
X Series: Balancing high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, specifically designed for medium- and high-temperature industrial furnaces and flue gas equipment.
II. Core Characteristics of Mainstream Grades
C276: Widest market share, well-balanced corrosion resistance, suitable for both wet and dry chlorine, sulfides, and various strong acids.
C22: High-chromium formula, stronger resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, preferred for desulfurization and high-chlorine environments.
C4: Low carbon and low iron, no welding sensitization, suitable for corrosion-resistant equipment that can be used directly after welding.
B2 / B3: Chromium-free design, specifically designed for pure hydrochloric acid and reducing acid environments.
G30: Ultra-high chromium, resistant to wet phosphoric acid and fluorine media corrosion.
Hastelloy X: High-temperature oxidation resistance, heat fatigue resistance, belongs to the heat-resistant Hastelloy alloy category.

III. Industry Applications
1. Chemical and Fine Chemical Industries: Strong acid reaction vessels, heat exchangers, distillation towers, pipelines, valves, agitators, corrosion-resistant containers; Suitable for corrosive conditions caused by nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, mixed acids and alkalis, and organic solvents.
2. Environmental Desulfurization and Denitrification (FGD): Flue gas desulfurization devices, absorption towers, spray pipelines, dust removal and pickling equipment in power plants and steel plants; Resistant to corrosion from flue gas sulfides, chloride ions, and acidic condensate.
3. Pharmaceuticals & Pesticides & Dyes: Pharmaceutical intermediate production, corrosion-resistant reaction equipment, wastewater treatment systems; Requires clean operating conditions with high corrosion resistance and no media contamination.
4. Hydrometallurgy and Non-ferrous Metal Smelting: Slurry conveying pipelines, pickling tanks, extraction equipment, corrosion-resistant smelting components; Resistant to mineral acids, fluorides, and complex corrosive slurries.
5. Chlor-alkali and Salt Chemical Industries: Caustic soda plants, chlorine conveying equipment, brine treatment pipelines; Resistant to chloride and hypochlorite corrosion. 6.
