* Capacity: 35ml (This is a standard small to medium-sized laboratory crucible, usually equipped with a matching nickel crucible lid to prevent splashing or contamination from external debris).
* Material: Made of high-purity industrial nickel, possessing excellent ductility and thermal conductivity.
* Main Uses: In chemical analysis and laboratories, pure nickel crucibles are primarily used for the alkaline melting and decomposition of samples (such as processing silicates, aluminosilicates, chromite, and other ores, or for high-temperature alkaline fusion reactions of certain substances).

II. Product Characteristics
1. Excellent Alkali Corrosion Resistance
Pure nickel exhibits extremely strong resistance to alkaline fluxes such as caustic alkalis ( NaOH, KOH), carbonates (Na₂CO₃), and sodium peroxide (Na₂O₂). In environments where conventional porcelain crucibles or glassware would be severely corroded by strong alkalis, pure nickel crucibles maintain extremely high stability.
2. Good Thermal Conductivity and Mechanical Strength
The rapid heat transfer of the metal material ensures uniform heating of the sample inside the crucible. Simultaneously, it possesses excellent thermal shock resistance (resistant to cracking from rapid heating and cooling), high mechanical strength, and good toughness, making it less prone to breakage from drops or impacts.
3. High Cost-Effectiveness
(An Alternative to Platinum Crucibles) Compared to expensive platinum (Pt) crucibles, pure nickel crucibles offer significantly lower costs, making them a cost-effective and economical choice for routine alkaline melting processes in laboratories.
4. Moderate Temperature Range
Pure nickel has a melting point as high as 1455℃. As a laboratory crucible, it is generally recommended to keep the long-term operating temperature below 700℃ in air (alkaline fusion operations are also usually controlled below 700℃) to prevent severe oxidation at high temperatures.
