Manufacturing Process: Vacuum arc melting / electron beam melting
Purity: ≥99.95% (Ta)
Oxygen Content: ≤ 0.015% (extremely low, high purity)
Characteristics: High density, good ductility, extremely strong corrosion resistance and thermal stability
Applications: High-end laboratories, semiconductors, high-purity material melting, highly corrosive environments
2. UNS R05400
Standards: ASTM B708, B521
Manufacturing Process: Powder metallurgy sintering
Purity: ≥99.95% (Ta)
Oxygen Content: ≤ 0.030% (slightly higher than R05200)
Characteristics: Lower cost, performance meets general industrial requirements
Applications: General chemical industry, metallurgy, vacuum furnace, general high-temperature experiments

II. Key Performance Characteristics (Pure Tantalum Crucible)
Melting Point: 3017℃
Recommended Operating Temperature: ≤ 1800℃ (Long-term); ≤ 2400℃ (Short-term)
Corrosion Resistance: Extremely strong, resistant to almost all strong acids (hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia), strong alkalis, and most molten salts
Advantages: High high-temperature strength, good chemical inertness, does not react with most molten metals, long service life
Disadvantages: High cost, difficult to process

High Purity / Strong Corrosion / Ultra-High Temperature: Select R05200 (Ta1)
Conventional Industrial / High Temperature / Economical: Select R05400 (Ta2)
