BT9/BT9A titanium rod is a kind of α-β titanium alloy with good comprehensive properties. It has excellent thermal strength below 500℃, and has high room temperature strength. The alloy also has good hot workability and can be welded and machined in various ways.

The alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of aero-engine compressor discs, blades, drums and other parts, and can also be used in the manufacture of aircraft structural parts. Through thermal deformation and heat treatment in the α-β region, the maximum long-term working temperature of the alloy is 500 ° C, and the semi-finished products produced include bars, forgings, die forgings and castings.

At present, with the continuous expansion of the application of BT9/BT9A titanium rods, the β heat treatment and isothermal forging of this alloy have achieved rapid development.
