TC11 rod (Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si) is an α+β type high-temperature titanium alloy independently developed in China. Grade: TC11 (Chinese National Standard GB/T 2965), corresponding to Russian Standard BT9
Composition: Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si
Aluminum (Al): 5.8%~7.0% (enhances high-temperature strength)
Molybdenum (Mo): 2.8%~3.8% (stabilizes β phase, improves heat resistance)
Zirconium (Zr): 0.8%~2.0% (refines grains, resists creep)
Silicon (Si): 0.2%~0.35% (resistance to creep, high-temperature stability)

1. Aerospace (Core)

Aircraft Engines: Compressor discs, blades, drums, shafts (500℃ hot end)

Aircraft Structures: Fuselage frame, wings, landing gear, connectors

Advantages: 40% weight reduction compared to nickel-based alloys, improved thrust-to-weight ratio and fuel efficiency

Typical: A single domestically produced CJ1000A engine requires over 1.2 tons of TC11 forgings.
