This 35ml laboratory zirconium crucible, featuring a 2mm wall thickness, is manufactured from high-purity industrial-grade zirconium (Grade R60702) via integral mechanical machining. Compared to standard thin-walled crucibles, the reinforced 2mm wall design significantly enhances mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance, making it specifically suited for rigorous high-temperature alkali fusion pretreatment experiments.

Extended Service Life: The thickened metal layer significantly increases the safety margin against oxidation and chemical degradation, effectively prolonging the overall service life under conditions of high-frequency and high-load experimentation.

High Purity and Contamination-Free: At high temperatures, a dense zirconium dioxide ($\text{ZrO}_2$) passivation layer spontaneously forms on the surface; this layer is chemically inert, preventing the introduction of impurity interference during the analysis of complex samples.

IV. Precautions for Use and Maintenance

Strictly avoid strong acids: Zirconium is extremely sensitive to hydrofluoric acid (HF), as well as hot concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid; do not use such acids for cleaning or containment.

Prevent contamination by low-melting-point metals: At high temperatures, metals such as lead, zinc, tin, and copper react with zirconium to form low-melting-point alloys, which can cause perforation of the vessel walls; strictly prohibit the melting of samples containing these impurities.

Follow proper heating and cooling procedures: Heating should be performed in a temperature-controlled muffle furnace, followed by natural cooling; rapid quenching with water or forced air cooling is strictly prohibited.
