Product Introduction Zirconium screws and nuts are high-performance fasteners made from industrial pure zirconium (Zr702, UNS R60702) or zirconium alloy (Zr705, UNS R60705) through forging, machining, heat treatment, and precision thread cutting. They belong to the category of rare metal special fasteners.

1. Core Material Characteristics

Zr702 (Industrial Pure Zirconium): Zirconium content ≥99.2%, hafnium content approximately 0.8%, exhibiting extreme corrosion resistance. It has excellent resistance to most acids, alkalis, salts, and high-temperature, high-pressure water and seawater, with corrosion resistance approaching that of tantalum.

Zr705 (Zirconium-Niobium Alloy): Contains 2.5%~3.5% niobium, offering higher strength and better toughness. Its corrosion resistance is comparable to pure zirconium, making it suitable for more demanding mechanical and corrosive working conditions.

Basic Properties: Melting point 1852℃, strong high-temperature stability; density 6.51g/cm³, lighter than stainless steel; low neutron absorption cross section, non-magnetic, excellent biocompatibility.
