Product Description

Zirconium mesh is a special rare metal functional mesh material made from high-purity industrial zirconium wire and zirconium alloy wire as core raw materials. It undergoes a complete process including precision warping, CNC weaving, vacuum shaping, and surface passivation. It also includes derivative products such as perforated/expanded zirconium mesh and multi-layer vacuum sintered zirconium mesh made from zirconium plates. With its superior corrosion resistance (far exceeding that of 304/316L stainless steel and titanium mesh), extremely low thermal neutron absorption cross-section, excellent high-temperature stability, and biocompatibility, it has become an irreplaceable core component in extreme environments such as highly corrosive conditions, the nuclear industry, and high-end medical applications. It is also an important product form in the field of zirconium material deep processing.

I. Core Grades and Product Classifications

(I) Classification by Material Grade (Completely Matches the Grade System of Zirconium Wire and Zirconium Tube)

1. Industrial Pure Zirconium Mesh R60702 (Zr3): Zr+Hf≥99.2%, low impurity control, most versatile, balanced corrosion resistance, controllable cost, industry usage exceeds 80%.

2.Corrosion-resistant zirconium alloy mesh R60705 (Zr5) Zr-2.5Nb alloy, with dispersed distribution of reinforcing phases. Its high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and hydrogen embrittlement resistance are significantly superior to pure zirconium.

3.High-purity zirconium mesh Zr-0 (Zr01) contains Zr+Hf ≥ 99.9%, exhibiting ultra-high purity and ultra-low gaps. It boasts stable electrical properties, excellent biocompatibility, and is non-magnetic.

(II) Classification by Molding Process

Woven Zirconium Mesh (Industry Mainstream): Made from zirconium wire using CNC weaving, it is divided into three main categories: plain weave, twill weave, and dense weave. It offers a wide mesh count range and controllable filtration precision, making it a core category for filtration, screening, and defoaming.

Multi-layer Sintered Zirconium Mesh: 2-7 layers of zirconium mesh are formed through vacuum high-temperature diffusion sintering, creating a three-dimensional, interconnected porous structure. It boasts strong dirt-holding capacity, good rigidity, and can withstand high-pressure backwashing, making it suitable for high-precision, high-pressure, and highly corrosive industrial filtration applications.

Perforated/Expanded Zirconium Mesh: Made from zirconium plates through punching or stretching, it features uniform pore size, strong load-bearing capacity, and excellent rigidity, making it suitable for high-flow coarse filtration, electrode current collection, equipment protection, and support frames.

Knitted Zirconium Mesh: Flexible knitted, it has high porosity and good compression resilience, making it suitable for special applications such as sealing, noise reduction, gas-liquid separation, and shock absorption.
