705 Melting Zirconium Crucible specifications include 99.6% purity, 6.51g/com3 density, and a 2200 °C maximum service temperature. Precious metals are primarily melted there. It is a perfect high temperature refractory and exhibits good thermal stability.

Zirconium is a metal with excellent corrosion resistance that is frequently used in equipment designed to withstand chemical corrosion. Its acid resistance is comparable to tantalum but lower than that of titanium and many steels. Up to the boiling point of hydrochloric acid, zirconium exhibits high corrosion resistance and is not vulnerable to stress corrosion, pitting corrosion, or crevice corrosion.

Zirconium is stronger than sulfuric acid and can survive its boiling point. Its concentration can also reach 70%. Zirconium can withstand several extremely corrosive situations, including molten alkali, various salt solutions, various inorganic acids (hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc.), alkalis, and most organic acids (such as hydrochloric acid), Formic acid, etc. Nickel and sodium hydroxide both have the same corrosion resistance.
