TA18 (Ti-3Al-2.5V), often referred to in the industry as "semi-TC4," is a near-alpha titanium alloy specifically designed for cold working and welding. Its alloying element (Al, V) content is approximately half that of classic TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V), hence its name.

Density: Approximately 4.51 g/cm³ (approximately 40% lighter than steel)
Common Conditions: Annealed (M), Cold-worked + Stress-relieved annealed

Excellent Cold Workability: Can be directly cold-bent, cold-rolled, and spun into complex thin-walled parts (such as thin tubes and sheets) without preheating.
Superior Weldability: Weld strength can reach 90%+ of the base material, far superior to TC4 (70%~80%).
Corrosion Resistance: Comparable to pure titanium, resistant to seawater, salt spray, chloride ions, and nitric acid corrosion.
