Titanium Gr2 Round Bar Features

Gr2 titanium round bars are pure alpha titanium round bars. With moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance and formability, it is the most widely used form of titanium. Compared to other grades of titanium rods, grade 2 titanium rods are slightly weaker than grade 3, but stronger than grade 1 and equally resistant to corrosion. It is non-magnetic in nature. These properties are generic in their application.

Gr2 titanium round bars are widely used in industry and manufacturing units, especially in chemical, oil and gas, and marine industries. They are the first choice for jobs with the highest demands on corrosion resistance. Excellent rust resistance, formability and moderate yield and tensile strength are important attributes of Gr2 titanium round bars. Low density, which is why they can be easily welded, hot and cold formed or machined. These specifications are mentioned in standards such as ASTM B348 and ASTM SB348. They can also be used in various finishing projects. Some of them are black, bright polished, rough turning, NO4 finish, matt finish and BA finish.
