TA10 titanium alloy pipe (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni, corresponding to US standard Grade 12) is a near-alpha type corrosion-resistant titanium alloy pipe specifically designed for highly corrosive environments. It is based on industrial pure titanium (TA2) with trace amounts of molybdenum and nickel, significantly improving its resistance to crevice corrosion and reducing acids, while maintaining good strength, weldability, and cold workability. It is a highly cost-effective pipe choice for the chemical, marine, and nuclear power industries.

Resistant to Reducing Acids: Corrosion resistance in dilute sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is far superior to TA2 pure titanium.

Room Temperature ≤10% H₂SO₄: Corrosion rate < 0.1 mm/year
Room Temperature ≤5% HCl: Corrosion rate < 0.1 mm/year

Resistant to Crevice Corrosion: Critical crevice corrosion temperature is 30~50℃ higher than TA2, suitable for flanges, gaskets, heat exchanger tube bundles, and other easily crevice-prone structures.

Resistant to Chlorides: No pitting corrosion occurs in seawater, salt spray, or process water containing Cl⁻.

Resistant to High and Low Temperatures: Long-term operating temperature -196℃ ~ 315℃.

Processing Characteristics

Excellent weldability: Can be welded using TIG and plasma welding; weld strength ≥ 90% of base material
Good cold workability: Can be cold-bent, flared, and edged without preheating
