The Zr702 15mL zirconium crucible is made of high-purity industrial-grade zirconium (zirconium content ≥ 99.2%) through precision machining or stamping. The 15mL capacity is a classic specification for micro and semi-micro analysis, suitable for valuable samples or reduced-volume chemical experiments. Zirconium forms a dense protective oxide film at high temperatures, which enables it to maintain extremely high stability even under extreme physicochemical conditions, making it an ideal replacement for expensive platinum (white gold) crucibles and fragile quartz/nickel crucibles.

Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: Exhibits superior corrosion resistance to most inorganic acids (such as hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid), alkaline solutions (such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide), and organic acids. It performs remarkably well in alkaline fusion methods (such as the melting of sodium peroxide (Na₂O₂) and sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), with extremely low crucible loss.
Excellent High-Temperature Stability: Pure zirconium has a melting point as high as 1855°C. It is not easily deformed and exhibits good thermal shock resistance under normal high-temperature melting conditions in the laboratory (typically between 500°C and 900°C).

Anti-Contamination and Low Loss: During the melting process, the zirconium crucible introduces very few impurities, effectively ensuring the accuracy of analytical results (especially in high-precision detection such as ICP-OES/ICP-MS).

High cost-effectiveness: Although zirconium is a rare metal, its price is much lower than that of platinum crucibles, and its lifespan is much longer than that of nickel or iron crucibles, resulting in extremely long service life and comprehensive economic benefits.

Zirconium crucibles are widely used in physicochemical testing laboratories of geological, metallurgical, chemical, environmental protection, and research institutes.

Ore and Rock Analysis: Used for alkaline fusion decomposition of samples such as iron ore, chromite, ilmenite, silicates, clay, and coal ash (often in conjunction with sodium peroxide or sodium hydroxide flux).

Pretreatment of Rarely Soluble Samples: Used for treating certain alloys, refractory materials, glass, and ceramic samples that are difficult to acid-extract.

Rare Earth and Precious Metal Detection: Used as a reaction and melting carrier in rare earth element extraction and precious metal enrichment processes.
