Zr702 (UNS R60702) is an industrial pure zirconium plate, the most commonly used corrosion-resistant material in the zirconium series. Its core advantages are resistance to strong acids and alkalis and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It is widely used in harsh working conditions such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and nuclear power industries.

Core Characteristics
Extreme Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to nitric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, strong alkalis, and salt solutions; resistant to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC), with performance superior to titanium and stainless steel, and approaching that of tantalum.
Good Processability: Good plasticity in the annealed state; can be cold/hot rolled, bent, and welded; easily manufactured into complex components.
High Temperature Resistance: Long-term operating temperature ≤400℃, short-term up to 500℃; oxide film stable at high temperatures.
Low activation: Small neutron absorption cross section and low radioactivity under nuclear operating conditions, making it suitable for nuclear power equipment.
