Through thermal deformation and heat treatment in the α-β region, the maximum long-term working temperature of the alloy is 500 ° C, and the semi-finished products produced include bars, forgings, die forgings, and castings.
BT9 titanium alloy is a two-phase heat-strength titanium alloy of the Ti-Al-Mo-Zr-Si series. It has high aluminum content and molybdenum content. The good combination of the two enables the alloy to have a good high temperature at 500 ℃.
High performance, satisfactory process performance, and thermal stability, mainly used in aero-engine compressor parts, such as blades, discs, drums, and shafts.
It can also be made into special-shaped castings. The working conditions of the parts are that they can be used for 500h below 500°C, 100h below 550°C and 1000h below 450°C in the returned state, and can be used for parts that work below 500°C for 100h in the strengthened state.

1.The alloy can be applied to welded structures. Fusion welding must be protected by inert gas (argon, helium) or vacuum methods. Welds should be free of oxidation or pale yellow.
2. Since the alloy has a large response to the thermal cycle of welding, some special heat treatment is required, not only to eliminate residual stress but also to stabilize the microstructure and properties of the metal adjacent to the weld seam.
Post-weld annealing and air or furnace cooling are generally recommended. Annealing is carried out in a vacuum furnace or in a container of inert gas, and flame lance is not allowed to anneal.
