Product introduction

Zirconium 704 is a tin-containing zirconium alloy. Excellent resistance to highly corrosive environments such as highly concentrated acids and alkaline solutions. High ductility.

Compared to Zirconium 702, Zirconium 704 (Zr704) contains 1.0-2.0% tin (Sn), as well as higher iron and chromium content, from 0.2% to 0.4%. These differences can improve the strength, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity of the oxide passivation layer and reduce the susceptibility of the surface to different corrosive environments.

Zirconium 704 contains small amounts of iron and chromium. This is similar to zirconium alloys used in the nuclear industry. In most chemical media, especially in high temperature, high pressure water and steam media, zirconium 704 shows more superior performance.
